Thank Yous

We were honoured to participate in Comox Rotary’s Ducky 500. What a bonus to cross the finish line first and receive $700!  A big thank you to Ocean Varney and her volunteer crew for creating such a dashing duck!

Sweet Rory, continues to keep YANA in her heart. She donated her birthday money this summer.

Sunnydale Golf Course hosted a Ladies Day with proceeds to YANA. Thank you to participants and organizers.

Thank you to Abel O’Brennan and his fine crew at Coastal Black Winery for hosting a scenic run with delightful treats and entertainment. A big shout out to all runners and volunteers for participating in this event.

Cumberland Village Festival was a whole lot of fun. We are incredibly grateful for this community fundraising effort hosted at Cumberland Elementary back in June.

Acacia is young girl with a great big heart who donated her birthday money to YANA.  We sure appreciate kids helping kids in this way.

The “Tween” group from the Comox Valley Child Development Association did some fundraising and donated part of their proceeds to YANA. Many thanks to this group for thinking of YANA in their fundraising efforts.

A shout out to a terrific trio! Thank you Darlene, Lesley and Judy for keeping the office running smoothly and for adding warmth and humor to the office atmosphere.

Three enterprising young girls, called the Three Kidpreneurs, made crafts and sold them at the Comox Mall. Thank you Sarah, Carly and Anna for donating part of your sales to help other kids when their families really need it.
