Thank Yous

Pilon Tool Rentals sponsored a charity beer tap at Church St. Taphouse and every pint sold raised 10 cents for YANA in the month of December.  Thank you “beery much” to this creative and generous team who is always looking for ways to “raise the bar”!

Thank you to Loblaws (Real Canadian Superstore) for donating to YANA through their Save it Forward campaign.  We think they put the “super” into Super Store!

The Tsolum River Truffula Tree Farm is a wonderful and festive place to get your Christmas tree and even better, a wonderful place to support YANA.  $5 from each tree sold was donated to YANA and we are so appreciative!  Thank you!

So many people to thank, so little space!  Huge gratitude to Driftwood Mall, Fresh Life Design, Bentall Kennedy, Adele, Lynda and ALL our amazing community friends who contributed to the Annual Christmas Tree Fundraiser.  This fun and festive tradition, hosted by the Driftwood Mall, has been benefiting YANA for almost 2 decades. Local businesses, families, and individuals create uniquely themed Christmas trees, complete with gifts beneath them, for auction.  This fundraiser embodies the generous Christmas spirit of our many charitable YANA supporters.

Not only does our local RCMP detachment work hard at keeping our community safe, they also have very large hearts!  We’d like to thank the Comox Valley RCMP and staff for their generous donation.

Thank you to Katrina Kaboly of Century 21 Arbutus Realty for her recent donation.  Katrina donates 5% of her personal sales commission to non-profits and we’re so grateful that YANA is one of her charities of choice.  Community partners such as Katrina enable us to help local Comox Valley families!

YANA would like to extend our gratitude to Viktor & Ursula Davare of Woodform Interiors.  They used their creative expertise to craft gorgeous wood slab cutting boards and sold them by donation.  We never cease to be amazed by our community’s wonderful fundraising ideas!

We’d like to thank one of our biggest supporters:  Kieran from Tin Town Cafe. This enterprising young man baked some delicious homemade cookies and sold them by donation to YANA during the Christmas Market.  We love to see thoughtful kids helping their community!

Huge shout-out to Chinook Local 630 Society for their generous contribution!  YANA appreciates organizations that value the need to keep families together in times of crisis.  Thank you!

Appreciation goes out to Orion Facilitated Planning for their recent donation to YANA.  We are so grateful for your ongoing support of our mission to provide assistance to families who must travel for the medical treatment of their children.  Thank you so much!
