Thank Yous

We’d like to thank Little Sparks Preschool for “sparking” a fantastic community fundraising idea:  They auctioned off a beautiful hand-made playhouse and donated the proceeds to YANA.  We feel a spark, a flicker AND a glow in our hearts for these wonderful folks!

YANA sure appreciates its community supporters and we can’t thank Brian McLean Chevrolet Buick GMC enough for their financial gift. Their charitableness, particularly during the tough times of COVID, is inspiring!

Thank you Betty, for your thoughtful donation to YANA.  Seniors are some of YANA’s biggest supporters.  Betty chose to donate her government-issued cheque to her grandchildren and YANA.  We’re so honoured!

We’d like to extend our gratitude to Funding Innovation for their recent donation.  This amazing charity works with foundations and not-for-profit’s Nationwide to raise funds through their Art Easel Program.  Thank you to this innovative and philanthropic organization!

Did you know that you can raise money for YANA through Facebook?  We’d like to thank all those amazing people who did just that.  Up to April 15th, our Fantastic Facebook Fundraisers collected a whopping $1680 for YANA families!

Mike Seib at Dark Seib Enterprises continues to support YANA with monthly donations from Charlie’s Auto Wash.  Mike, we thank you and appreciate your ongoing support!

When the ‘Marvellous Mask Making Marcie Dumais’ refused to accept payment for the 6 PPE masks she made Patti Fletcher decided to donate the funds to YANA! Thanks from the tip of our masks to the bottom of our hearts.

Huge gratitude to Nourish Wellness for making us their charity of choice for proceeds from their Karma Yoga classes this Spring. What a wonderful way to try out different yoga styles while giving back to our community!

A big shout out to the staff at Waypoint Insurance, Crown Isle who generously donated funds raised from their Jeans Day to YANA. Thank you so much!!

We’re so grateful to the Children’s Health Foundation Vancouver Island for their generous funding of our Denman Hornby Connector Program for Expecting Mothers and our YANA Connects Parent and Caregiver Support Program.  These programs allow YANA to help Denman/Hornby families safely welcome their new wee ones into the world, and to provide a safe space where all YANA family caregivers can lean on each other for peer support and camaraderie.  We are very excited to be able to offer these valuable programs again this year thanks to the ongoing support of CHFVI.  To read more about the Children’s Health Foundation Vancouver Island and the great work they do, visit https://islandkidsfirst.com
