COVID-19 Update

Our YANA services will continue as normal amidst the COVID-19 pandemic but we are doing our part to slow the spread. Extra measures are being taken to clean and sanitize the apartments in Vancouver as families depart.
Much of our support for YANA families can be provided via phone and email. In the event you do need to access our services at the office, we ensure a sanitized environment and will take the appropriate precautions to minimize risks associated with the virus.
Anyone who displays symptoms, has been in contact with someone who displays symptoms or who has recently travelled internationally should first phone us if our services are required.
We appreciate your support and understanding.

Big Love on 3!

On every great team, each player puts their hand in for the cheer, and voices rise together to shout their rally cry. Each person in the circle knows if they play their role selflessly, with passion and determination, the result will be a source of huge pride for everyone involved.
And so it is with the 2020 YANA Big Love Benefit! Thank you to every sponsor, donor, attendee, volunteer and supporter who put their hands in and created this year’s record-breaking magical event. This was a big BIG win for YANA families in our community!

Show your support for children and families in the Comox Valley by purchasing a YANA Big Love WestJet Raffle ticket. Tickets are $20 each and you can win one roundtrip flight for two to any regularly scheduled WestJet destination! Only 750 tickets were printed, so your chances of winning are excellent.
You can purchase tickets from our friends at Comox Bike Co., Tin Town Cafe, Edible Island and Seeds Food Market. You can also click HERE to request tickets and a volunteer will contact you to fulfill your order.
Winning ticket will be drawn at the February 28, 2020 Big Love Benefit Event. *Winner does not need to be present at the draw.

We would like to recognize Comox Valley Potters Club for donating a portion of their pottery sales to YANA. Thank you for your continued support for YANA families!
Our appreciation goes out to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 160 and Ladies Auxiliary for choosing YANA to be the recipient of their charitable donation. Comox Valley families who need to travel for the medical treatment of a child or pregnant mother appreciate your support!

Our community is always creating unique ways to give to YANA and we love sharing these stories! Ian & Kendra sold a piece of art to Jayson Welsh, but instead of accepting payment, they asked Jayson to make a donation to his favourite charity. He chose YANA and we are so grateful for these folks and others like them, who remind us of how much love our community has to give!
Our creative community was at it again! A huge thanks to Coastal Black and all of those that participated and contributed to the Pumpkin Trebuchet Launch fundraiser for YANA at this years Pumpkin Fest, what a fun way to raise support that is invaluable to so many!
