YANA would like to give a shout out to Knappett Construction who made personal donations at their staff Christmas Party!  We are extremely grateful when organizations decide to make YANA their Charity of Choice, thank you!

We are so grateful to Tayco Paving for their extremely generous donation in lieu of Christmas gifts at their Christmas Party! Their kindness will make a HUGE difference in the lives of the families we support, and we are truly thankful for their support!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! We were so lucky to have Lisa in the office last week for Franklin Covey’s Give Back Event! What an amazing way for Franklin Covey and their employees to show their commitment to their community and make a positive impact on the people around them!

Thank you doesn’t seem to feel enough when thanking the Comox Valley Regional District Unit members of CUPE Local 556 for their recent donation. These municipal workers work so hard, and we’re very grateful that they thought of YANA to be the recipient of their generosity!

Woofs here, woofs there, everywhere a woof woof! Huge thank you to Courtenay Bosley’s and Amy Shaw Photography for putting together such a fantastic fundraiser! Who doesn’t love holiday photos of their animals!? From dogs to cats to bunnies despite the weather, you all showed love to your furry friends and the YANA families. We couldn’t be more grateful to you all who came out!

A major thank you needed to T.Lewis for his recent donation to help offset the recent loss of recent donors this last month. Your support speaks for itself, and we are incredibly grateful for what you’re able to do for the families we support.

When you pile in a bunch of volleyball folks with HUGE hearts in a gym what do you get? Ahh-mazingness. The Comox Valley Sports and Social Club challenged the volleyball community to raise money for YANA and fill not one but TWO vans full of items for the Comox Valley Food Bank! How incredible is that. Not only did the players raise $750.00 but the club then matched it to raise the total to $1500!!! Holy heartwarming. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us say “yes” to the families who need it most. 

A very heartfelt thank you to the Arsenault family for their recent donation in appreciation for use of our YANA apartment in Vancouver. The community support through burgers and beer is one that can’t be unmatched. Community love + delicious burgers… where can you go wrong?!
