Finneron Hyundai increased their “likes” on Facebook and made a donation to YANA

Many thanks to Chances for choosing YANA as the recipient of their “found” money.

When little Kai’s parents asked him if he’d like to donate some of the money from his piggy bank he said he wanted to give it to YANA and he presented it in a pretty box with a ribbon and a hug.

When Carrie Lemke, a voice teacher, and her students performed a musical theater recital they decided to accept donations for YANA From all accounts it was a successful event.

April 22-26 was the first annual YANA Week in the Schools. What a great way to raise awareness about how YANA helps families in School District 71. Many schools held awareness assemblies and fund raising events. We thank our Director, Hugh MacKinnon for an amazing job of organizing this, and attending many of the events.

Thank you to all the businesses and individuals who decorated and donated trees to the Driftwood Mall’s Christmas Tree fundraiser for YANA A big thank you to Heather who organized the entire event.

Thank you to Pam Tessman who did a little busking with her son – singing ‘Here to Help’. The donated the proceeds from their busking day to YANA – so sweet!

Thank you to the Bell Family for opening up your property for ‘cut your own Christmas Tree for YANA’ What a lovely and giving family tradition!

Thank you to Karen McKinnon who hosted a holiday fundraiser for YANA. A portion of the gift certificates that she sold at the mall were gifted to YANA

Thanks to Circle K Blueberry Farm for doing some fundraising for YANA this past summer. I hear it was a bumper crop!!
