What a fun time on a sunny day at the airport. The Comox Valley Airport Commission matched the funds raised by a barbecue for airport volunteers and the public by On the Fly Cafe. It was nice to connect with these kind folks again.
Marjan Jackson was a YANA Volunteer extraordinaire when she volunteered to do all the work to bring the Vancouver Welsh Men’s Choir to the Comox Valley. It was a fantastic evening at Mark R. Isfeld School. Thank you so much Marjan. Thanks go as well to the corporate sponsors of the event – Crown Isle Resort & Golf Community, McQueen Construction, Canadian Western Bank and Tim Hortons. It was a great partnership with Mark R. Isfeld School, as well.
The Comox Valley Principals and Vice Principals Association continue to pay back to YANA We know that they get to see first hand the impact of childhood illnesses and injuries on their students and their families.
